PARENTS
For parents of youth players there really is only one task to complete and that is Birth Certificate/Age Verification. This is done by uploading your child's birth certificate. You can do this by doing the following:
Go to your dashboard - https://www.mnsoftball.com/pages/dashboard
Once you have accepted a roster invitation a pink compliance button will show up that will look like this; Compliance
Click on the Compliance button next to your child's name.
Click on Birth Certificate Required.
Click on Upload New File.
Click on Birth Certificate Document.
Browse to the location of the Birth Certificate on your computer or phone.
Click "Upload Document".
You will get an email from the website that tells you the birth certificate was verified. If you do not get this immediately it is because the resolution of the file is so poor the artificial intelligence cannot make out the text on the document. 95% of the uploaded birth certificates are automatically verified. Another reason it might not automatically verified is the name of the child or birthdate does not match what was entered when you created them.
Birth certificates that are not automatically approved are reviewed by staff. It may get rejected and you may be asked to upload it again. Birth Certificates that usually get automatically approved:
Are taken in portrait format.
Have higher resolution.
When the picture is taken fill up all of the screen and are taken directly over the document.
Are not crooked or taken at an angle.
Do not use the iPhone default image file called a .HEIC file.
EXAMPLE OF A GOOD BIRTH CERTIFICATE UPLOAD
Birth Certificates/Ages are verified once per child and will stay with your child throughout their playing career on this system. The birth certificate will NOT stay on the website. Once it is approved the website garbage system deletes the files.
