The Travel division is for girls in 3rd grade through 11th grade (ages 10-18). Team Division is based on players age as of prior year Sep 1st (ex. if your child is 10 yrs on 9/1/24  she will be in 10U. If she is 11 yrs on 9/30/24 she will be in 12U for the 2025 season).

Players are allowed to try out for any age division pursuant to policies & procedures outlined in the BLFPA bylaws, posted in the documents section.

Player evaluations are mandatory. These will be taking place March 4th, 2023 at Big Lake High School

2025 BLFPA Travel Fees

• Fees for the 2024 Summer season will be $250 for every level of play in travel. This registration fee is used for:

  • Big West Fees (Team Registrations and Gate Fees)

  • Community Ed Fees

  • One jersey 

•  Extra Team Gate Fees (new this season 2 per team)

• Purchasing New Equipment

• Umpire Fees 

There is as $225 volunteer check required at tryouts. This is destroyed after the completion of 8 hours of volunteer time (one athlete), 12hours of volunteer time (multiple players). Those hours will be completed at the State Tournaments hosted at the end of the season. We will also have various opportunities this year throughout the season to earn volunteer hours. These will be posted on signup genius and communication will be sent via email. Reminder, we don't want your $$ we want your time and effort to help make it a great season.

Attending a monthly Board Meeting will earn you 1 hour of volunteer time. Failure to complete your hours by the end of the season will result in your check being cashed. We will speak to you beforehand and give you an opportunity to complete your time before doing so. Feel free to reach out to a member of the board with any questions. 

Nights of Play

• 10U plays Tuesdays and Thursdays. (Thursday games do not start until June)
• 12U plays Monday and Wednesday.
• 14U plays Tuesday and Thursday.
• High School Plays Monday and Wednesday.
